Like most, BBQ’ing for me began in the backyard watching my Dad and Uncle’s tell crazy stories, and drink beer.  The smell of burning wood reminds me of them cooking great food and sharing plenty of laughter, which I have carried on this tradition with my own family today. I have learned some of their secrets over the years and came up with a few of my own.  Let me cook you up something good and understand why I say, “My smoke ain’t no joke”

Since I was a little girl, I had been cooking along side of my mother and learning all her recipes with Louisiana roots. I started baking for my family at our backyard gatherings and holidays to give tokens of love for them. And it multiplied to friends and co-workers. I love giving people a smile with the desserts and sides I prepare, and I hope they offer each customer a little piece of happiness with each bite.
